Sunday's Caulfield meeting looks suited to horses that can race on speed and there isn't a more obvious leader than Pride Of Jenni. The rail is out 13m, she is proven fresh and her Caulfield record includes some enormous performances. She should take control early and give them something to catch.
Best Value – Race 9 Lim's Saltoro
Lim's Saltoro is yet to win in six Australian starts but looks ready to peak third-up. He was third at Group 3 level in Adelaide last preparation and later settled outside the leader at Caulfield before taking over at the 400m and narrowly going down to Yellow Sam. He went too hard in front when ninth over 1400m at Flemington last start, but barrier three gives him the chance to find the lead this time ahead of Run Harry Run and Home Rule. If Sunday's on-speed pattern develops as the historical data suggests it might, Lim's Saltoro looks an interesting way to finish the meeting at a price.
